Vita rada maľuje už od detstva, no nikdy to neštudovala. Spolu so sestrou maľovali iba vo voľnom čase. Počas štúdia narazila na článok o maľovaní na sklo a rozhodla sa, že to vyskúša. Kúpila si farbu na sklo a namaľovala prvú fľašu. Ako sama hovorí, začiatky neboli pekné ani originálne, ale neprestala skúšať a vypracovala sa.
